My name is Mark VanNess. I am a tattooist originally from North Carolina, I've been tattooing for 14 years. I believe I am a versatile tattoo artist, utilizing many tattoo techniques & genres to accommodate my clients. I don’t think there is just one style that explains me best. I work in Americano Traditional, Japanese, Realism, Black and Grey, and many more styles and inspirations from other artist and mediums. I approach tattooing like I approach my life- try to experience things with an open mind and connect with people.
I started traveling around the world in February 2010. During the 17 months adventure I was able to embrace other shops, artist, connected with other cultures, and expand my ideas of why this is the best career in the world. During my 17 month trip I visited: Argentina, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Portugal, England, Egypt, Morocco, India, Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Austrailia, New Zealand and Fiji. In some places I worked, in some I got tattooed, and in all I found inspiration.
Now, I have returned to the USA and am currently working at Ace's High Tattoo in West Palm Beach. I love to tattoo, I love to paint, I love to get to know the client, I love meeting new people . I LOVE THIS LIFE.
